Retrospective Analysis Of Perinatal And Fetal Malformation

Objective To investigate and evaluate the causes of perinatal death and birth defects, to improve the quality of perinatal careand reduce the perinatal morbidity. Methods According to the standard of Perinatal Stage, we reviewed and made statistical analysis on 394 cases of inpatient medical records with perinatal death,who were admitted to this hospital between 1997 and 2006. Results During the ten years since our hospital,the perinatal morbidity was2 ? 28%,in which,the fetal death was 55.33%,the stillbirth was8.38%,and the neonatal death was 36.29%.The leading complications and causes of perinatal death were preterm labor,fetal malformation,and fetal asphyxia;as to the fetal malformation the congenital heart disease was the leading causes;the next reason were cheilopalatognathus and the extremities of extremities. Conclusions To enhance the surveillant quality during the pregnant period, prenatal screening,avoid the preterm labor,and prevent the gravidic comlications are primary procedure to reduce the perinatal morbidity and etal malformation.
