Investigation Of Prevalence Of Anxiety And Depression Of Inpatients In General Hospital

Objective To study the difference of anxiety and depression of medical patients inpolyclinic in aspect of sex, age, educated degree ,race and different medical department. Method 169medicalpatients were investigated with hospitl anxiety and depression scale (HADS). Result The proportion of pure anxiety, pure depression and anxiety withdepression were 18(10.6%), 12% and 17(10%),54(31%)The proportion of anxiety and depression were 72(42.6%) and71(42%). Nodifference of anxiety and depression of patients in aspect of sex, age, and different medical department were found, while difference of depression of patients in aspect of educated degree were found. Conclusion To study the difference of anxiety and depression of patients is important for medical in polyclinic.It deserves to pay more attention to the emotional reaction of inpatients in general hospital ,psychological intervention against such negative emotions should be taken to patients when treating the somatic diseases .
