Clinical Characteristics And Steroids Therapeutic Efficacy Of Acute Myelitis In 63 Cases

Objective:To identity clinical features of acute myelitis and steroids therapeutic efficacy.Methods:The date of 63 patients with were reviewd retrospectively from first affiliated hospital of xinjiang medical university between1997and 2008,To analyze the clinical situation,laboratory examinationande,screenage examination and steroids therapeutic efficacy.Results:The main clinical symptoms included motor loss and sensory disturbance 63 patients(100%),which were 37 cases of paralysis of two lower limbs,and 16 cases of paralysis,sphincter dysfuctiong 56 cases(88.9%),Laboratory examination included cerebrospinal fluid abnormal 22 cases,screenage examination abnormal 63cases,The therapeutic effect of methylprednisolone was signifcantly better than that of control(P＜0.05),The curative and effective rate in methylprednisolone groups and dexasone groups were78%and 32%.Respectively and significantly difference can be found between of them(x~2=13.4161,P＜0.05)...
