To Discuss The Clinical Value Of Ultrasonography And CT In The Diagnosis For Thyroid Carcinoma

Objective:To assess the value of ultrasonography(US) and computer tamagraphy(CT) in diagnoses of thyroid cancer. to improve the final diagnosis rate of thyroid carcinoma. Methods:121cases of thyroid carsinoma were analyzed retrospectively by means of ultrasonography, CT and combination of both modalities preoperatively,and compare with the Pathology diagnosis. Results:1.The final diagnostic rate of thyroid carcinoma with CT was 71.07%.and with US was 51.24%.2.The diagnostic rate of cervical lymph node metastasis with CT was 36.17%.and with US was 70.21%.3.there was not big difference on the final diagnostic rate of Papillary thyroid microcarcinoma with CT and US.4.the combination of USand CT diagnosis rate was 85.95%.higher than CT and US.Conclusion:CT is more accurate in the diagnosis of thyroid carcinoma than CT. butUS is quite well in finding metastatic lympadenopathy on the neck than CT. the combination of USand CT improved the final diagnosis rate of thyroid carcinoma.and helpful to clinical treatment.
