Global chronic hepatitis C virus infected about 170 million to 200 million, while China's over 040 million infected people, the crowd infection rate was 3.2 percent. This shows that the hepatitis C virus infection in China has become a serious social and public health issues. In addition to HCV infection with hepatitis, cirrhosis, liver cancer-related,but also from a liver-tropic, leading to liver damage from the organization.Large number of domestic and international aspects of Clinical and Experimental Research, found that fatty liver degeneration is the hepatitis C virus infection in the pathogenesis of one. In recent years due to rapid economic development, people's diet, lifestyle has undergone tremendous change, thus priming the incidence of metabolic syndrome increased, and a younger trend. The incidence of MS in China for 15.1%,MS has become a threat to human health of the public health problem. With the diagnostic criteria for metabolic syndrome identified,we found that insulin resistance metabolic syndrome is the central link of the disease and the basic foundation of glucose and lipid metabolism disorder is the basis of pathological changes. We further recognize that fatty liver and high blood sugar is part of the performance of the metabolic syndrome, liver and fatty degeneration is the hepatitis C virus infection in the pathogenesis of one. Therefore, the hepatitis C virus infection and metabolic syndrome in relations began to be concerned about.Objective:109 cases of hepatitis C virus infection patients with metabolic syndrome and hepatitis C virus infection without the corresponding population the incidence of metabolic syndrome in comparison study on hepatitis C virus infection and metabolic syndrome, and Further explore the hepatitis C virus infection and the metabolic syndrome may be the mechanism. Methods:Retrospective analysis of Jilin University in Japan Friendship Hospital in June 2003 to April 2008 and the North China University of Medical College Hospital in June 2005 to April 2008 in-patient and out-patient infected with the hepatitis C virus patients were randomly The out-patient medical examination from the same period in the incidence of metabolic syndrome.Hepatitis C virus infection which a total of 109 cases,48 cases of men,61 women, age range 18 to 79-year-old,the average age was 49.8 years old.Entry criteria:anti-HCV positive and(or)HCV RNA-positive patients.Exclusion criteria:A,B,D and E hepatitis virus infection, alcohol and drug use, such as patientswith immune regulation. The control group was 114 cases,51 cases of men and women in 63 cases, the age range 19 to 75 years old,the average age was 47.5 years old.Age,gender, body mass index and the above-mentioned cases match, liver function normal, and except for hepatitis virus infection, except for alcohol and drug use factors such as immune regulation.Records of all subjects of the age, sex, height, weight, blood glucose, blood pressure, blood lipid full.Determination of blood glucose, serum triglycerides and total cholesterol by enzymatic oxidation; apolipoprotein A and apolipoprotein B by immunohistochemistry transmission turbidity Determination of the high density lipoprotein cholesterol-low-density lipid cholesterol and eggs since - hampered by cholesterol Determination.Metabolic syndrome in 2004 China's Ministry of Health to take for Disease Control Division and the Chinese Medical Association diabetes credits will put the diagnostic criteria,as follows:comply with the following four components of the three or all of:(1)overweight or obese:-Mass index≥25.0 kg/m2;(2)high blood sugar:fasting glucose≥6.1 mmol/ L and / or 2 h postprandial glucose≥7.8 mmol / L,and / or have diabetes diagnosis and treatment,(3)hypertension:Shrink Pressure / diastolic blood pressure≥140/90 mm Hg,and / or have been diagnosed with high blood pressure and treatment,(4)lipid disorders:fasting TG≥1.70 mmol / L and / or fasting blood HDL-C M<0.9 mmol / L,F<1.0 mmol / L.Results:HCV infection in patients with 109 cases,33 cases(30.28%) merger of metabolic syndrome control group of 114 cases,10 cases(8.77%) merger of the metabolic syndrome, the group has significant difference(P<0.05).HCV infection in patients with 109 cases,18 cases of overweight or obese(16.51%),there are 45 cases of high blood sugar(41.28%),there were 31 cases of hypertension(28.44%),there are 43 cases of blood lipid disorders (39.45%).Control group,114 cases, six cases of overweight or obese(5.26 %),there are 15 cases of high blood sugar(13.16%),12 cases of hypertension (10.53%),there are 10 cases of blood lipid disorders(8.77%).One,HCV infected patients with high blood sugar and blood lipid disorders, compared with the control group, there are significant differences. Conclusion:Hepatitis C virus infection in patients with metabolic syndrome was significantly higher than that of hepatitis C virus infection and metabolic syndrome closely related to hepatitis C virus infection in patients with blood sugar and blood lipids significantly higher than that of hepatitis C virus infection and High blood sugar, high blood pressure and high blood lipids are closely related, and obesity has nothing to do:Metabolic syndrome may be infected with the hepatitis C virus liver, one of the performance.
