Object: To study the evaluation of MSCTA before and after endovascular exclusion of aortic diseasesMaterial and Methods: 26 cases performed endovascular exclusion in our hospital during 2003.8-2006.2 are selected, which include 19 patients with aortic dissection and 7 patients with aortic aneurysm. In these cases, 25 cases are male and 1 case is female, with an average 52.2 years old. All the patients received MSCTA before and after endovascular treatment. 8 cases recheck with MSCTA several times, so there are 34 images of MSCTA post-operation. Two observers analysized the images and reached the agreement.Result: Two and three dimensional images were reconstructed for the 26 cases pre-operation and post-operation .Information were obtained regarding the size and features of the aortic dissection and AAA,lengh and diameters of the neck, status of the branches of aorta intactly and macroscopicly . In the post-operation images, thrombus was formed in all of the false lumens of aortic dissection and the outer-stent cavity of aortic aneurysm .But one case with aortic aneurysm graft thombosised; there are 4 cases with endoleak(3 with type I endoleak,1 with type III endoleak complicating graft deformation ); one case gained perfusion recovery, and another procured superior mesenteric artery thombolysis. Conclusion: MSCTA provides high quality images. It is a high-speed and non-invasive method which can provide all the parameters for the needs of deployment. It is can be used as a routine method of choice.
