Objective1. An ideal Osteoporosis rats experimental model will be established to provide anavailable channel for study the mineral metabolism by the PET developer 18F-NaF, atthe same time, to offer a good platform for determining the bone density by the bonedensity apparatus.2. To observe the uptake of the main bones of rats by the PET developer 18F-NaF, andto analyze the data of the bone metabolism of the Osteoporosis locations, and toapproach the dependability of the PET and the bone density apparatus in diagnosingthe Osteoporosis, finally, to offer evidences for diagnosing the Osteoporosis by PETtechnology.3. To approach the utility of the mineral metabolism of the post-menopause females'osteoporosis locations in clinic through determining the main bones of thepost-menopause females by PET and the bone density apparatus, meanwhile, to studythe dependability of the PET and the bone density apparatus in diagnosing theOsteoporosis in clinic. If observe the chances of bone metabolism of osteoporosisaccording to PET-CT? If observe osteoporosis earlier according to the chances ofbone metabolism? And offer to the theory basis to diagnosis and treat the osteoporosis and the new drugs exploitation.Methods1. Forty three-month female SD rats(offered by Nan Fang University of medicineaffiliated hospital, Nan fang hospital animal experiment center) were randomlydivided in two groups according to avoirdupois, they were spaying group, fakeoperation as its control group, to observe the bite and sup, drinking, activity, changingof the weight and mental state during making the model.2. The main bones of two groups of rats are to be determined by PET and the bonedensity apparatus, and to analyze the data. All of the datas were analyzed bySPSS13.0,and the weight data were analyzed by repeated measures ANOVA, theothers by t test.Results1. Model circumstances: During making the model, the hamsters were normal in thebite and sup, the drinking and the activity, The model was successful (P=0.000,t=6.261).2. The results of PET showed that the main bone of the body contrasts the uptake rateof the spaying group and the control group was significant different (P=0.001,t=3.531), The results showed the change of the metabolism of the region of theOsteoporosis.Conclusions1. The spaying group simulated the adverse effect because of the descending of theestrogen after menopause. It supplied an excellent model for studies of the effects ofthe two factors on the Osteoporosis.2. The models' uptake rates were lower than the control groups. The result showedthat the Osteoporosis skeleton and normal skeleton were different in the uptake ratesof 18F-NaF. 3. To determine the bone mass by bone density apparatus was one of the mostimportant methods. Compared the data of the spaying group uptake rates by the PETdeveloper 18F-NaF and the bone density data by the bone density apparatus, we candraw a conclusion that the PET technology had important diagnostic value, too.4. PET technology could monitor the change of the bone metabolism of theOsteoporosis locations, which provided a theory basis in diagnosis the Osteoporosisin micro bone metabolism, at the same time, which had a possibility in earlierdiagnosis the Osteoporosis, and offered to the theory basis to diagnosis and treat theosteoporosis and the new drugs exploitation.
