Objective To research the relationship between lumbosacral angle and degene- rative lumbar spondylolisthesis. Methods The X-ray pictures in lateral view and coronal view were taken and the lumbosacral angle was measured in the normal group. The X-ray pictures in lateral view, coronal view and dynamic view were taken in the spondylolisthesis group. Besides, the lumbosacral angles in different positions and degree of lumbar spondylolisthesis was measured. Then the corrective analysis was taken. Results The lumbosacral angle in lateral view in normal group was 36.04±2.19°. The lumbosacral angles of lumbar spondylolisthesis in lateral view, erect view and hyperextension view were 37.08±3.20°,39.21±3.05°and 39.42±2.73°respectively, and the degree of lumbar spondylolisthesis in these different views were 4.97±1.71mm,6.87±1.98 mm and 6.97±1.88 mm respectively. The lumbosacral angles of these two groups in lateral view showed significant difference (P<0.01). The three angles in different positions in spondylolisthesis group were compared to each other. There was no significant difference between hyperextension position and erect position (P>0.05), while the rest of comparation showed significant difference (P<0.01). The degrees of lumbar spondylolisthesis in three positions in the spondylolisthesis group were compared to each other. There were no significant difference between hyperextension position and erect position (P>0.05), while the rest of comparation showed significant difference (P<0.01). There were no significant difference between male and female lumbosacral angle (P>0.05). Relationship between lumbosacral angle and degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis was analysed rs=0.89.Conclusion There were no significant difference between male lumbosacral angle and female lumbosacral angle. X-ray picture taken in hyperextension position and erect position would help to reveal spondylolisthesis. The lumbosacral angle and occurrence of degenerative spondylolisthesis showed direct relationship.
