Evaluate The Changing Of Microhardness During The Ozone Combining Remineralization Treatment Using In Caries-affected Dentin Of Deciduous Teeth

Objective: The purpose of this study is to compare the change of Viker Microhardness Number (VHN) in O3 combining remineralization treatment, pure ozone (O3) treatment and pure remineralization treatment which were used in caries-affected dentin of deciduous teeth, and evaluate the effect of three methods. Method: 30 deciduous teeth, pull out, which had deep caries were collected.We divided these samples into A,B,C groups randomly, each group had 10 teeth and the teeth in the each group were numbered,removed caries and sectioned parallel through the central of the caries to the long axis and randomly chosen 10 sections of them as experimental group and the other 10 sections as control group. A group was used O3 only, B group was used pure remineralization treatment, C group was used O3 combining remineralization treatment. After the operation, VHN was used to evaluate the treatment effect. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) was used to observe the change of the dentin surfaces of the teeth. DIAGNOdent was used to detect the data change after different treatment. Result: Interclass Paired T- Test showed that except VHN of B group hadn't statistically significant(P > 0.05), other two groups bouth had statistically significant(P<0.05). The result of Group T-Test which compared the VHN enhance of A,B,C groups after the treatments indicated the difference had significant statistic in A,C; B,C groups (P<0.05), A,B groups had no significant statistic (p>0.05). Compared with normal deep dentin, the VHN was no significant difference of C groups(p>0.05). By using SEM, we can see A,C groups were more clear than B group and control group. DIAGNO dent data indicated that the number all enhanced in three groups, and the data had significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion: Though three methods all can enhance the VHN, C group was higher than the other two groups, and the VHN was nearly as the normal one. So we conclud that O3 combining remineralization treatment had best effect. The result of SEM tell us that he Negative-Pressure of HealOzone institution may clean the clastic layer of the tooth effectively. DIAGNOdent didn't show any advantages to measure the deep dentin caries of deciduous teeth.
