The Study Of The Clinical Related Factors Of Relapse After Fufang Jikang Tablet Treatment In Patients With GD

BACKGROUND: GD is an autoimmune disease, about 80% patientswith hyperthyreosis are induced by it on the clinic. Theincidence increases by years. The recurrence rate is highbecause the pathogenesis is not clear, and the treatment cannot aims at the pathogeny, but only controls the symptoms ofHypermetabolism and adjusts the immune function. ATD is a kindof common treatment with GD, whose long-term remission rate isonly 40-50%, however, the relapse will occoured in 1-2 years.In order to enhance the long-term effects, many researchs havebeen taken by the domestic and international scholars.Fufang Jikang Tablet is a kind of chinese-western medicinecompound drug, which orignated by Hubei Hospital of TraditionalChinese Medicine, mainly composed by traditional Chinesemedicine with the function to supplement the vital energy andnourish yin, methimazole(MZ) is fewly added, it used to treatHypermetabolism, have the functions to supplement the vitalenerge and nourish yin, soften liver and adjust spirit, relievetumors.OBJECTIVE: Explore the relevant factors of the treatment byusing Fufang Jikang Tablet, as a guide to take appropriatestrategy which reduce the recurrence rate of the disease and improve clinical efficacy, providing a scientific basis.METHODS: The former and later relevant circumstances of thetreatment by using Fufang Jikang Tablet was collected, therecurrence factors was verified with alogistic regressionanalysis.RESULTS: Since 2003, the thyropathy department of HubeiHospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine has treated 602patients with. Fufang Jikang Tablet, 87 among them relapse.Relapse rate was inversely correlated with age, family diseasehistory, compliance, duration of ATD treatment and somecomplications, such as, TAO and liver damage(p＜0.05).CONCLUSIONS: Some GD recurrence relevant factors have been.preliminary discussed, it can help to reduce the relapse rate.
