Objective: To study if the patients with primary intrahepatic stones have the Hp infection agents and the infection may accelerate the formation of primary intrahepatic stones by enhencing the activity ofβ-G activity in the bile and liver organize. Methods: The regular, anaerobic and Hp cultures were performed for all 45 samples﹙include 37 samples of primary intrahepatic stones and 8 samples of the controls﹚. Helicobacter pylori DNA in bile and mucosa of primary intrahepatic stones samples was detected by PCR,β-G activity was measured by using enzymological method. Results: The regular, anaerobic and Hp cultures were found 17 positive of regular and anaerobic in 37 bile samples of primary intrahepatic stones and 1 positive of regular in the controls。All the samples Hp cultures were found no bacteria growing. PCR showed positive in 26 (70.27 %) of 37 bile samples, While only 1 positive in the controls of H. pylori DNA;There was bacterialβ-G activity no difference between the positive H. pylori DNA and the negative H. pylori DNA; but there was significant correlation endogenousβ-G activity in the positive H. pylori DNA. of primary intrahepatic stones. Conclusions: The patients with primary intrahepatic stones have the Hp infection agents and the infection may accelerate the formation of primary intrahepatic stones by enhencing the activity of endogenousβ-G activity in the bile and liver organize.
