Objective:To investigate the value of measuring N-Terminal Pro-Brain Natriuretic Peptide levels in the patients with non-st-elevation acute coronary Syndromes (NSTE -ACS).Methods:The 110 subjects were selected into the study at first.including 30 healthy subjects and 80 patients with ACS at random.Based on the plasma concentrations of CK-MB and CTnT,and also the results checked by dynamic electrocardiogram(DCG), Fifty-five patients with non-st-elevation ACS were selected finally and divided into NSTEMI group (26 cases) and UAP group (29 cases). The plasma concentrations of N-TproBNP and cardiac tropnin T (CTnT) were measured in 55 patiends by ELISA. and also were divided into CTnT positive groups (31cases) and CTnT negetive groups (23cases) by the plasma Concentration of CTnT. and were compared to 30 healthy controls within 6 hours and at 24 hours after the onset of symptoms. When the patients undergoing the coronary angiograph the ECG were measured .According to the degree of ST segments depression in ECG ,They were divided into three groups, Using the 13.0 SPSS soft ware to analysis, all statistical data were indicated with(x±S)."P"less than 0.01 could be considered the differences was significant.results:1)Significantly abnormal concentrations of N-TproBNP were observed in the patients with group NSTEMI[(278.6±197.2) pg/ml and (554.3±196.8)pg/ml ( p<0.01)]and group UAP[(275.6±195.9 )pg/ml and (525.7±199.1) pg/ml (p<0.01)].Compared to the normal controls(95.4±22.6)pg/ml and (96.5±22.7)pg/ml within 6 hours and at 24 hours after the onset of symptoms. But the CTnT level was similar in all groups within 6 hours. The level of CTnT and N-TproBNP were siginifcantly higher in the patients with NSTEMI than those in the normal controls at 24 hours after the onset of symptoms (p<0.01). But N-TproBNP was siginifcantly higher in the patients with UAP(p<0.01). CTnT was normal (≤0.1ug/l) in most of cases of unstable angina pectoris at 24 hours .2) The density of N-TproBNP was obviously increased in the CTnT positive groups and CTnT negetive groups within 6 hours and at 24 hours.3) The density of N-TproBNP increased with the degree of ST segments depression in different groups. And in the same groups , The density of N-TproBNP and CTnT at 24 hours increased more significantly than within 6 hours.conclusion:1,In patients with NSTE-ACS, the sum of ST-segment depression in all ECG leads may be correlated with the density of N-TproBNP. and the higher serum level of N-TproBNP may prognostcate the degree of myocardial ischaemia obviously.2,N-TproBNP can be used as a diagnostic parameter for early non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction...
