The analysis of procreation health and affecting factorsof Han and Yi married women in Sichuan rural areasObjectives: Procreation health of Han and Yi married women wereevaluated and compared. Stractural equation modeling was used toanalyze related factors of procreation health of Han and Yi marriedwomen. It could be academic basis of decision-making for relatedgovernmental departments and referrences of related researches.Method: The data of "A survey of health knowledges and behaviorsof married women in Sichuan rural areas'project, which is thesubsurvey of CIDA project "The human resources building of Chinesewomen's social work in rural areas", was used to analyze and compareprocreation health status of Han and Yi married women; stracturalequation model of procreation health of Han and Yi married womenwas constructed to analyze and compare the differences of it'saffecting factors.Results: The procreation infection rate in past year of Han marriedwomen(45.42%) is higher than that of Yi married women(31.20%).The rate of induced abortion of (40.84%)Han married women is alsohigher than that of Yi married women (16.00%). The stractural equation model of procreation health of Han married women isdifferent from that of Yi. The main affecting factors of procreationhealth of Han married women are: health konwledge and their socialstatus. More health knowledge and higher social status could result inbetter procreation health. The main affecting factor of procreationhealth of Yi married women are: their health habits,health care duringperimental period and social economical status. Better health habitscould lead to better procreation health; better perimental period healthcare and higher social economical status could result in betterprocreation health.Conclusion: The procreation health status of Hart and Yi marriedwomen are diffrernt, and its affecting factors are different too. It's veryhelpful to improve women's procreation health by enhancing thehealth education of Han and Yi women, advancing women's socialstatus and health care during perimental period.
