THE FIRST PART:THE RISK FACTORS OF TUBERCULOSIS IN CHONGQINGObjective: To study the risk factors of tuberculosis in Chongqing.Methods: A population-based case-control study was used which included 100 cases and 106 controls, investigate their Social economic status, inhabited environment,working conditions,physical fitness activities et al, adopt logistic regression to find out the the risk factors of tuberculosis in Chongqing.Results :It showed that family members who with pulmonary tuberculosis(OR=3.52,95%CI=0.96~12.89),per capita income (OR=2.91,95 % CI=1.30~6.53) , per person living(OR=2.49 , 95 % CI=1.27~4.89),BMI (OR=2.30,95 % CI=1.18~4.50), spirit (OR=1.92,95 %CI=1.09~3.38),the nutritional status (OR=1.89,95%CI=1.04~3.43),smoking(OR=1.34,95%CI=1.00~1.78)。 Conclusion: family members who with pulmonary tuberculosis, low per capita income,low per person living,low BMI, self-consciously tired ,a state of poor nutrition , smoking had close relationship with tuberculosis, they were the risk factors of patients having tuberculosis in Chongqing.China.THE SECOND PART:POSSIBLE ASSOCIATIION BETWEEN POLYMORPHISMS OF Sp110 GENE AND SUSCEPTIBILITY TO TUBERCULOSISObjective:To explore the frequencies and polymorphic distribution of Sp110 gene 5′-UTR rs11679983 and rs28930679,rs9061, rs1063154, rs1047254,and to analyze their relationships to the susceptibility of tuberculosis in indigenous Han Chinese from Chongqing province.Methods : Allele-specific Amplification PCR (ASA-PCR) was employed to identify the polymorphisms of rs11679983 and compared the frequencies distribution of genotype and allelic genotypes in both 100 patients of tuberculosis and 106 controls matched by age, gender and origin; DNA sequencing were used to analyses the frequencies distribution of genotype and allelic genotypes of these continuous four locusts.Results:The frequencies of genotype for rs11679983 with types of AA,AG and GG in tuberculosis were 21.00%,56.00% and 23.00%,while in control they were 41.51 %,54.72 % and 3.77 % ,respectively . There was significant difference in the frequency of mutation in rs11679983 between tuberculosis and controls(χ2 =18.11,P< 0.001). rs11679983GG genotype had a significant increased risk of tuberculosis ( OR=2.84, 95%CI :1.76~4.59) compared to AA or AG genotype.Conclusion : Our results indicated that the polymorphisms of rs11679983 might associate with the individual susceptibility to white plague. There was no statistical correlation between the gene polymorphisms of other continuous four locusts and white plague.
