Clinical Study On LeigongtengGancaoTang Decoction In The Treatment Of Acute Psoriasis Vulgaris

Objective. To observe the clinical efficacy of LeigongtengGancaoTang decoction in the treatment of acute psoriasis vulgaris and the effects on the levels of IL-6 and CRP, compared with those of multiglucosid tripterygii.Methods. We divided the 88 cases into two groups. Within 4 weeks, 45 cases in group A, treated by LeigongtengGaochaoTang decoction, and 43 cases in group B, treated with multiglucosid tripterygii(MT). The level of serum IL-6 and CRP were measured before and after the treatment.Results. The total clinical effective rates of group A and group B were 91.11% and 72.09% separately, which show a significant difference(P<0.05). The clinical cure rates of the two groups were 46.66% and 30.2% separately, which show a larger significant difference(P<0.01). After the treatment, comparison of decline levels of IL-6 and CRP between group A and B were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion. The curative effect of Leigongteng GancaoTang decoction in the treatment of acute psoriasis vulgaris is superior to that of multiglucosid tripterygii(MT).
