Clinical Study On Cancer Of Colon(CRC) Treated By "Jian Pi Yi Qi Fa" Combined With Chemotherapy

Objective: According to the pathogenic peculiarity of weak in spleen function combined with qi deficiency,"jian pi yi qi fa"based on the therapeutic principle of promoting qi and strengthen spleen was studied out for cancer of colon, combined with chemotherapy (L-OHP+5-Fu/LV regimen) to observe the effect of the treatment with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine on CRC. Methods: 43 subjects with CRC were randomly divided into two groups, 23 patients in the treated group were administered with"jian pi yi qi fa"and chemotherapy (L-OHP+5-Fu/LV regimen), 20 in the control group with chemotherapy alone. Objective effects and the changes of subjective symptoms were studied during two periods of treatment. Results: After two periods of treatment, the subjective symptoms,KPS,weights,QOL,the tumor mark(CEA),immune parameters(CD3+,NK)were significantly improved in the treated group, better than in the control one. But there was no difference between two groups on the size of focus, the toxicity occurent rate and toxic degree ware slighter in the treated group than in the control one. Conclusion:"jian pi yi qi fa" and chemotherapy (L-OHP+5-Fu/LV regimen)have synergia curative effect on treating CRC.
