Objective:To study the clinicopathologic characteristics in female breast cancer between Uigur patients and Han patients.Methods:The 232 cases with breast cancer in No 2 affliticated hospital of Xin jiang medical college were reviewed,including 44 Uygurs women and 188 Han women who were collected from March 1989 to December 2006.The patients of age,prevalence of age,menstrual factors,tumor location,histogical type,ER,PR,Full-term pregnancy parity,clinical TNM stage and lymphy node status in the clinicopathological contrast analysis was done between Uygurs patients and Han patients by using statistical methods.Results:Full-term pregnancy parity,preoperative course,clinical TNM stage and lymphy node matastasis were signifantly different between two Nationals(P<0.05).prevalence of age,menstrual factors,tumor location, histogical type and ER,PR was not signifantly different between two Nationals(P>0.05). Concludes:The proportion of breast cancer of Uygurs women was low in patient of Xinjiang,but the prognosis of Uygurs women with breast cancer was poorer than Han patients,because their late diagnosis,mainly belonging toⅡ,Ⅲstage of TNM and higher postoperative pathologic examination of lymphy node matastasis rate.The main reasons due to lacking of anti-cancer awareness and the relative superiority of medical serves,or some certain lifestyles.To improve Uygurs women'self-health awareness,do the census work,and strengthen the secondary prevention of breast cancer,so early detection,early diagnosis and treatment is the key to improve survival rates of breast cancer in Uygurs women.
