Objection: To study the methods of prenatal fetal monitoring in intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP) for evaluating fetal condition in the cavity of the uterus. Methods: 70 cases of the patients with ICP and normal pregnancy women were compared in hepatic function(bilirubin, transaminase, bile acid, glycocholic acid) S/D, Manning Scores,Apgar Scores and rate of meconium, weight of fetus. Each item of Manning Scores, NST, breathy movement of fetus fetal movement, muscular tension, quantity of amniotic fluid, was tested by chi square test in order to find out the significant items for ICP; The relationship between different methods of prenatal fetal monitoring and the fetal Apgar scores was observed by multiple linear regression. Results: There were statistical significance in the difference of hepatic function, S/D, Manning Scores, Apgar Scores and rate of meconium between ICPand normal pregnancy. There were statistical significance when used fetal movement and muscular tension in Manning scores to monitor patient with ICP. The changes of the fetal Apgar scores were predicted by monitoring changes of transaminase and NST of ICP. There was not relationship between the fetal Apgar scores and bilirubin, bile acid,glycocholic acid,S/D,Manning Scores. Conclusion: The condition of the fetus can be predicted by fetal movement and muscular tension in Manning Scores. In many monitoring methods, transaminase and NST can anticipate to the baby health condition for the patients with ICP. In antepartum, monitoring fetal movement and applying NST with atraumatic can anticipate to the baby health condition in the cavity of the uterus, thus, can select correct mode and juncture in time.
