Acute renal infraction (4 cases report and review of literature)Objective: To study clinical characteristics of acute renal infarction. Methods : 4 cases of acute renal infraction were reported. A retrospective study of literature was performed. Patients with acute renal infraction usually present with acute flank or abdominal pain and haematuria and elevated serum lactate dehydrogenase. Doppler-ultrasonic and CT scan may help confirm the diagnosis. Results: 2 of 4cases underwent anticoagulate; 1 of 4 cases underwent thrombolysis; and 1 of 4 cases underwent thrombolysis and anticoagulate. 3 of 4 cases get a good recovery, 1 case died of multi-orgen infraction. Follow-up of 6-12 months showed no recurrenceConclusion: Detection of acute renal infraction is often delayed or missed due to both the rarity of the disease and its unspecific clinical presentation. Diagnosis rely on high risk for a thromboembolism event and clinical symptoms. CT contrast-enhanced should be performed as soon as possible to prove it. Early diagnosis and treatment can imporved its effect.
