IL-6 And ICAM-1 Early Judgement Value To Severity Of Acute Pancreatitis

Objective : Through testing the serum IL-6 and ICAM-1 and monitoring the change,debating their early judgement value to severity of acute pancreatitis.Methods : To test and compare the serum IL-6 and ICAM-1 concentration of 28 cases who were diagnosed acute pancreatitis (severe acute pancreatitis 13 cases, mild acute pancreatitis 15 cases) and 10 cases as health control group by the ELISA method.Results: (1) Serum IL-6 and ICAM-1 concentration of SAP patient who hospitalized within 24h have significant deviation with MAP and CG(P <0.01);but the concentration of MAP has not significant deviation with CG(P>0.05).(2) Serum IL-6 concentration of SAP patient who hospitalized within 24h has significant deviation with MAP and CG (P <0.01); but the concentration decreases after admission, there is not significant deviation comparing with MAP in the fifth day(P>0.05).(3) In the second days of admission, serum ICAM-1 concentration of SAP patient increase most obviously, and then the concentration decreases, but still significant deviation comparing with MAP(P<0.05).Conclusions: The serum IL-6 and ICAM-1 concentration play a role in clinical judgement value to severity of acute pancreatitis.
