Clinical Study On Effect Of Combined Chemotherapy And Fuzheng Kangai Decoction In The Treatment Of Advanced Primary Bronchiogenic Cancer

Objective: to Observe the curative effect and side effects and quantity of the life (QOL) of Advanced Primary bronchiogenic cancer Treated by Combined Fuzhengkangai Decoction and chemotherapy.Methods:Fifty-seven Advanced Primary bronchiogenic cancer patients were randomly divided into the treated group(n=28 Treated with Combined Fuzhengkangai Decoction and chemotherapy)and the control group(n=29 Treated with simple chemotherapy),21-28 days as one treatment cycle,and to evaluate the effects after two treatment cycle.Results: side effects: The WBC,HGB,PLT and BUN all have a prominent decline in both treated group and control group(P<0.01), but the difference between the two groups is also prominent(P<0.01). The increase of ALT is prominent in control group(P<0.01), but no statistical difference in treated group(P>0.05). Immune function: the decline of IL-2 is prominent in control group(P<0.01) while in treated group has no statistical difference.The improvement of the living quality:The changes of EORTC QLQ-C30,QLQ-LC13 and Karnofsky eveluation are all better in treated group than in control group. The tumor marker:The decline of TPS is prominent in treated group(P<0.01) and has a statistical difference in control group (P<0.05), but the difference between the two groups is also prominent(P<0.05). The change of CEA has no statistical difference in control group(P>0.05),but in treated group CEA has a prominent decline(P<0.01).Conclusion: Combined Fuzhengkangai Decoction and chemotherapy is better than the chemotherapy alone in the treatment of advanced lung cancer.Treated advanced lung cancer by integrated Traditional and Western Medicine is a promising method.
