Expression And Significance Of Ki67, EGFR And HER-2 In The Diagnosis Of Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia And Cervical Carcinoma

Objective:To investigate the expression and biological significance of Ki67,EGFR and HER-2 in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN)and cervical carcinoma,providing theoretical basis for early diagnosis and prognosis of the disease.Methods:For 82 cases of patients,the immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of Ki67,EGFR and HER-2,and then give an analysis of the results with clinical pathological variables.Results:Of 82 cases,10 cases of cervicitis,10 cases of CIN I,15 cases of CINâ…¡,15 cases of CINâ…¢and 32 cases of cervical carcinoma,the immunohistochemical positive staining of Ki67,EGFR and Her-2 were brown or dark brown,which were respectively located in nucleus, cell membrane and cytoplasm,cell membrane;the positive rate of Ki67 in cervicitis,CINâ… , CINâ…¡,CINâ…¢and cervical carcinoma were as below as 0,40%,93.3%,100%and 100%;the positive rate of EGFR in cervicitis,CINâ… ,CINâ…¡,CINâ…¢and cervical carcinoma were as below as 10%,90%,60%,66.6%and 15.6%;the positive rate of Her-2 in cervicitis,CINâ… ,CINâ…¡, CINâ…¢and cervical carcinoma were as below as 0,40%,73.3%,100%and 68.7%.By all appearance,for these three kinds of proteins,the expressions in CIN and cervical carcinoma were significantly different from those in cerviticitis.After comparisons between two adjacent groups,the expressions of Ki67 and Her-2 were significantly different between cervicitis, CINâ… and CINâ…¡,CINâ…¢,cervical cancer;the expressions of EGFR showed difference between two adjacent groups.There was a positive correlation between Ki67 or Her-2 and cervical lesions;a negative correlation was presented between EGFR and cervical lesions.In addition, there was a positive correlation between Her-2 and the size of tumor,clinical stage,and lymph node metastasis in cervical carcinoma.Conclusion:Ki67 may be a valuable indicator of the prognosis for CIN;EGFR could be an indicator of the good prognosis for cervical cancer,but the effect of Her-2 was opposite.Ki67, EGFR and HER-2 could be used as markers for early diagnosis of CIN and cervical carcinoma. It could be helpful for increasing the ratio of earlier diagnosis in the fields of cervical carcinoma and providing assistance for judging prognosis and treatment.
