Background: DILD is a kind of disease resulting from drugtoxicity or allergic response during medication. With the increasingvariety of drugs for clinic, more and more drugs may can lead todrug-induced hepatitis. It is about 10%-15% in all cases of drugdamage. Due to the diversity of clinical manifestations and pathologicalchanges, no specific laboratory tests, DILD is prone to be missed ormisdiagnosed. And this status effects clinical treatment and prognosis ofthe disease. So summarizing and understanding clinical characteristics ofDILD is very important for its prevention and treatment. Objective: To prevent and enhance the understanding ofdrug hepatitis by analyzing the etiology, clinical features, therapeuticefficacy, turnover of 202 cases with drug-induced liver disease. Methods: 202 cases with drug-induced liver damage(according tothe diagnosis standards of country liver disease organizationrecommended) admitted to our hospital from 2002-2005 were reviewedaccording to their medication histories, clinical features, liver functiontests and serum markers and responses to withdrawal. Results: The most common drugs causing liver damage are thoseas follow: herbal drug (34.2%), anti-tuberculosis drugs (28.2%).antibiotics (8.9%), anti-thyroid drugs (6.9%) and chemotherapy (10.4%).Most drug-induced hepatitis occurred in two months after medication. And most patients had good prognosis. There was statistics difference in liver disfunction between DILDpatients with negative hepatitis marker and patients with positive hepatitismarker. Liver disfunction in DILD patients with negative hepatitis markerwere lighter than those with positie hepatitis marker, and the former hadbetter recovery. There was statistics difference in liver disfunction between DILDpatients of hepatic cell type and cholestasis type. Liver disfunction inDILD patients of hepatic cell type were lighter than those of cholestasistype, and the former had better recovery. Conclusions: The most common drugs causing liver damage arethose like herbal drug,anti-tuberculosis drugs,antibioticsanti-thyroid drugs, and chemotherapy. Most drug-induced hepatitisoccurred in two months after medication. And most patients had goodprognosis.Liver disfunction in DILD patients with negative hepatitis markerwere lighter than those with positie hepatitis marker, and the former hadbetter recovery.Liver disfunction in DILD patients of hepatic cell type werelighter than those of cholestasis type, and the former had better recovery.
