Objective: To analyze the characteristics and difference of the laser-induced autofluorescence spectra of normal bladder tissue and bladder carcinoma tissue and find a method for discrimination among normal bladder tissue and bladder carcinoma tissue. To supply theory for early diagnosis of carcinoma of bladder. Methods: adopting 355n m laser-induced autofluorescence detection analytical system to collect 26 autofluorescence spectra of cutting normal bladder tissue and bladder carcinoma tissue in surgery. to utilize optical fiber detecting head of laser-induced autofluorescence detection analytical system erectly on surface of lump in the urinary bladder and doubtful pathological changes and to shine diseased region in 355nm, we collect fluorescence spectra in 400nm~700nm, at the same time, we collect 3 spectrum at integrated waveband,latero- pathological changes in 1.5cm and normal tissue. Eventually we analyze the characteristics and difference of normal bladder tissue and bladder carcinoma tissue. Results: Of 52 specimens detected by laser-induced autofluorescence, 26 were normal and 26 carcinoma tissue. The number of spectra were 78 respectively in 400~700n m wavelength coverage. All normal tissue fluorescence intensity was high than carcinoma tissue on the same wavelength. There was a char wave crest at 452 n m respectively. Normal tissue and carcinoma tissue of char peak intensity were 321.53±35.12 n m and 160.13±12.87 n m respectively. Normal tissue of peak intensity was obviously high than carcinoma tissue(P<0.001). Different histology type of arcinoma tissue were not significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusions: Normal tissue and carcinoma tissue of autofluorescence intensity were difference. Different histology type of arcinoma tissue were not significant difference. laser-induced bladder tissue autofluorescence spectra may be useed in distinguishing Normal tissue and carcinoma tissue...
