ObjectiveIn the clinical medicine,the acid-base equilibrium disorder formation rate is quite high. Many diseases may occur company with acid-base equilibrium disorder, and the acid-base equilibrium disorder often aggravates the diseases, affects the prognosis. The correct judgment of acid-base equilibrium disorder situation is the premise for the prompt correction of acid-base equilibrium disorder, and the prevention of the diseases getting worse. Therefore, when the acid-base equilibrium disorder happens clinically, how use objective and alert indications to specifically analyze the causes of the acid-base equilibrium disorder, the judgment of acid-base equilibrium disorder's degree, and the assessment or quantify the acid-base equilibrium disorder in the those context are essential to the correction of acid-base equilibrium disorder, improve the occurrence of the development and the prognosis of the diseases. For the disappointment is that, all these issues have not been completely solved yet.At present, some overseas scholars have started to utilize mathematics principles to establish mathematical models to analyze the quantitative variables, which affect the acid-base equilibrium disorder. The research that combined the applied mathematics with medical topic has become the tendency in the acid-base equilibrium disorder area. In the acid-base equilibrium disorder, the lung cushioning effect has established the mathematical model initially, and has carried on quantification processing to the lung cushion effect. This achievement has the vital significance to clinical judgment of acid-base equilibrium disorder, the lung compensation adjustment mechanism, the compensation strength, correction of the acid-base equilibrium disorder promptly, prevention of the disease exacerbation.In the acid-base equilibrium disorder, the lungs mainly display the compensation adjustment action in the metabolic acid-base equilibrium disorder, there are two kinds of metabolic acid and base balance disorders: Metabolic acidosis and metabolic alkalosis. Through the animal experimentation, we have measured the change range of the blood HCO3- correspond to the PaCO2, through those experiment we have proven the compensation adjustment of the lungs and the elasticity range of variation and the change scope during metabolic acidosis and metabolic alkalosis, that has provided the scientific basis for the mathematical model.MethodsUse the rabbit to generate the metabolic acidosis and metabolic alkalosis model, and perform the artery blood gas analysis, according to the analysis result, use mathematical formula to validate.ResultsWhen metabolic acidosis, HCO3- value gets smaller, the rate ofâ–³PaCO2/â–³HCO3- also gets smaller; When metabolic alkalosis, as the plasma value of HCO3" gets larger, the rate ofâ–³PaCO2/A HCO3- gets smaller. This result conforms to the mathematical model.ConclusionThis paper usesâ–³PaCO2/â–³HCO3- to present the adjustment ability of the lungs related to the acid-base equilibrium, and on this basis, use animal experiment to give further testament: the indication ofâ–³PaCO2/â–³HCO3- can reflects the compensatory strength of the lungs.
