Objective:To observe the influence of parenteral treatment with ceftriaxone on theamount of Entcrobacteriaccae, Entcrococci, Bacillus bifidus, Bacillus acidi lacticiand Blastomyces albicans on colonic and ileac intestinal mucosa and bacterialtranslocation. Methods: The male rats were divided randomly into normal control groups (Agroups), bacteremia groups(B groups), bactcremia+ceftriaxone groups(C groups)。Bgroups and C groups were made septicemia models. The mouse of C groupc weregiven ceftriaxone 100mg/(kg·d) by intravenous injection after septicemia modelsestablished 24 hours. At 4th trial day, 11th trial day and 18th trial day, intestinalbacteria on colonic and ileac intestinal mucosa of mice were done quantitativeanalysis, and determine the bacterial content of liver, spleen, kidney and blood. Results: There was no significant difference in the amount of the four kind ofintestinal bacteria between the mice in A groups and B groups (F=2.826, P>0.05).No significant difference in the amount of the four kind of intestinal bacteria betweenthe mice used ceftriaxone 4 days and the mice in A,B groups (F=1.663~2.093, P>0.05).There was significant difference intheamount of Enterobacteriaceae,Bacillusbifidus and Bacillus acidi lactici between the mice used ceftriaxone 11 days and themice in A, B groups (F=3.5014~22.563, P<0.01,0.05). There was significantdifference in the amount of the four kind of intestinal bacteria between the mice usedceftriaxone 18 days and the mice in A,B groups (F=5.6579~29.865, P<0.01).Bacterial translocations happened in liver, spleen, kidney and blood after usedceftriaxone 18 days. Conclusions parentcral treatment with ceftriaxone can causedramatic changes of intestinal ecology and cause bacterial translocation. Conclusions: parenteral treatment with ceftriaxone can cause dramatic changes ofintestinal ecology and cause bacterial translocation.
