| Objective: To observe the effect of Wei Ling 1 hao granules on the Bax and gastric mucosa pathological histology in rats model of precancerous lesions of gastric cancer(PLGC), and to explore the mechanism in the retreatment of PLGC.Methods : One hundred and twenty Wistar rats were randomly divided into four groups : normal control group, model group, Vitacoenzyme group, Wei Ling 1 hao group.Except normal control group rats, PLGC model was established in other rats by synthetical method: 100 ug/ml MNNG and 0.03% Ranitidine were given once a day ,and Ethanol without water was given once a day,et al, all the factors were given for 26 weeks. When the model was established successfully , Except normal control group rats, others rats were treated with different medicines ,after 12 weeks, all the rats were sacrificed.Their stomaches were collect to detect Bax protein and observe the histologic mucosa changes by microscopy.Results: Pathological change of gastric tissue of the rats from the model group was more obvious than that of normal control group , and the content of Bax protein decreased apparently.But the content of Bax protein of Wei Ling I hao group increased obviously and parts of the glandular organ recovered under pathogical examine.The result of Wei Ling I hao group differed from that of model group and Vitacoenzyme group and the model group (P<0.05).Conclusion: The abnormal expression of Bax protein is a important factor induced PLGC, Wei Ling 1 hao have protective functions against the gastric mucosal injure and can improve the expression of Bax protein,even can turnover partly the pathologic changes of gastric mucosa, it might be one of the mechanisms of Wei Ling 1 hao to treat PLGC effectively.
