Chicory is perennial herb of compositae, A lots of studies on its'chemical composition and pharmacologic action at present, the results of showed that: some compounds that phenols, compounds, polycose, anthoxanthin, terpenoid were contained of chicory and possessed wide physiological activity in it. But only less study on extraction technology aspect. The study concentrated on extraction technology of effective components by mono-factor experiment and orthogonal experiment, that can supply the way to utilize resource of chicory. The results were as follows:1. Effectiveness of active ingredients of protein, polypeptide, amino acids, polycose, phenolic compounds, polycose, tannin, organic acid, organic acid were extracted of chicory by solvent extraction of water and alcohol. Aetherolea and lipid were extracted of it by dissolvent of alcohol and light petroleum exception for dissolvent of water.2. The effect degree of factors on extraction of phenolis is that: Liquid and material ratio>time of extraction>temperature of extraction. The best extraction technology condition of chicory is that: Liquid and material ratio is 1:15, dissolvent of 60% alcohol, 2h of extraction time and 80℃.In this condition, phenolis extraction ratio is 98% by twice time of extraction and the phenolis content of aerial parts is 1.40%,but 0.14% of underground parts of chicory.3. Phenolis content of aerial parts is the highest quantity and was extracted 1.8610% in flourishing flower season of chicory. phenols content of 1.4770%-1.5767% from at the beginning to late phase of florescence in suitable time for extraction. Phenols content of aerial parts is great higher than underground parts and extraction parts of phenols is aerial parts. Phenolis content of chicory is differ significantly (p< 0.05)between one year and two or three years. Phenolis content of chicory is no differ significantly (p> 0.05)between two and three years.
