Clinical Research Of Palpebral Margin-incision In Double Eyelid Plasty

Objective To explore a new method of double eyelid plasty and study its clinical value.Methods 29 cases underwent double eyelid plasty of margin incision. The incision ofpalpebral margin was from 2-3mm up to eyelashes. And 45 cases underwent double eyelid plastyof routine incision. The incision was from 6-8mm up to palpebral margin.Results All cases succeed in operation and were followed up from 6 to 12 months. Nosignificant difference on the satisfaction-rate between two groups (89.66% vs 93.33%, P > 0.05).Conclusion The double-fold eyelid shape taking operations of margin incision and routineincision are effective and safe methods. In addition, the cicatrix in palpebral margin incision isdodged by eyelashes.
