Objective To investigate the relationship between the CRP and carotid artery plaque and the risk factors of cerebral infarction.Methods①Trial design based on case control study about not matching group.②The levels of serum CRP,blood pressure, blood glucose(GLU),blood lipid, etc.were measured and the ultrasound of bilateral carotid arteries was examined in 91 patients with acute cerebral infarction(infarction group),72 patients(control)who had risk factors of cerebral infarction, but had not developed cerebral infarction. The relationship between concentration of CRP and carotid artery plaque and the risk factors of cerebral infarction was analyzed.③Statistics methods:single variable analysis do with t-test,x~2-test,multiple variable analysis do with non conditional logistic regression.Results①Age and sex is not a statistical significance(P>0.05).②The simple factor analysis showed that the risk factors for cerebral patients was related to age, hypertension, diabetes, cardiac disease, smoking, drinking, carotid artery plaque,CRP,blood glucose, cholesterol, triglyceride, etc, data showed a statistical significance(P<0.05).③Variables in logistic regression showed CRP,carotid artery plaque, hypertension, smoking, blood viscosity are association with the cerebral infarction, have a statistical significance(OR>1,more OR 95%CI not include 1;P<0.05,OR=2.982,2.496,5.443,3.158,1.525).④There is the interaction between CRP,carotid artery plaque, hypertension and smoking.(API=69.6%,17.1%, 35.6%,9.6%,5.4%,35.6%,44.7%)Conclusion CRP is related with the risk factors of cerebral infarction.CRP is involved in the occurrence and progress of acute cerebral infarction through the risk factors of cerebral infarction. Therefore,CRP may play an important role in the prevention and treatment of cerebral infarction.
