Relationship Of The Gene Polymorphism Of TGF-betal With Recurrent Spontaneous Abortion

Objective:To investigate the relationship between the recurrent spontaneous abortion and transforming growth factor-betal gene polymorphism.Methods:Sixty-eight cases with recurrent spontaneous abortion were included in study group:of them,33 were anticardiolipin antibody(ACA)positive,while 35 were negative;thirty-three cases were with early abortion,twenty-four were with late abortion,and 12 were with both early and late abortions.Thirty women without abnormal pregnancy history were recruited as control group.TGF-betal 1 genotyping was carried out by polymerase chain reaction-restrictive fragment length polymorphism(PCR-RFLP).Results:(1)There have significant difference of genotypes and allele frequencies of codon 10 between control and study group;while the genotypes and allele frequencies of codon25 were not different between the two groups.(2)the allele frequency of codon10 were significant different in the early abortion group than that in the late abortion group.(3)the frequency of codonl0 T allele in the ACA positive groupwas higher than that in patients with ACA negative group and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).(4)About the genotypes and allele frequencies of codon10 and codon25,there were no significant difference between the frequencies of 2 times abortion groups and 3 times ones.Conclusion:TGF-betal may be the genetical risk factor of RSA;codon10 may be correlated to the early abortion and abortion with ACA positive,codon25 may be not corrected to recurrent spontaneous abortion.
