Objective:To study the serum uric acid(SUA)and max platelet aggregation(MPAR)in predicting coronary heart disease risk and the degrees of coronary lesions.Method:120 patients hospitalized with the suspected diagnosis of coronary heart disease(CHD) were divided into 2 groups according to the results of coronary arteriography:coronary heart disease group[included 30 patients with stable angina pectoris(SAP),30 patients with unstable angina pectoris(UAP),30 patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI)]and control group(n=30)with normal coronary artery or stricture of branches of coronary artery less than 25%.The patients with coronary heart disease were divided into groups of one vessel disease, two vessel disease, three vessel disease.Comparison among the different groups were made in terms of SUA and MPAR.Resu It:①The SUA level of the CHD group was 354.77±78.87,significantly higher than that of the control group, the MPAR of the CHD group was 52.08±7.54,significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).②There were significant differences found on the levels of SUA in AMI group and UAP group than SAP group. There were significant differences found on the levels of MPAR between AMI group and UAP group, and so on.③There were significant differences found on the levels of the both indexes in three vessel disease and two vessel disease than single vessel disease.④Excluding the influence of age, sex, hyertention, diabetes mellitus, etc, multivariate analysis is showed that MPAR was a significant variable associated with coronary heart disease, but SUA,not entering the regression equation, was not an independent risk factor.⑤When SUA and MPAR were both at high levels, coronary heart disease risk was much higher than any single index was at a high level. Conclusions:High SUA and MPAR jointly accelerate the occurrence, development of atherosclerosis. It may be important to use the index of SUA associated with MPAR to predict coronary heart disease risk.
