The extraction, purification of total flavonoids and total alkaloids in Artemisia selengensis Turcz. were discussed, and structure and anti-HBV tests with ELISA of alkaloids were studied.The extracting conditions on total flavonoids of Artemisia selengensis Turcz. were studied by single factor test and orthogonal experimental design guided by the extraction rate. The results showed that ethanol extraction rate(0.412%) was higher than water extraction rate(0.372%).The optimal procedure for ethanol extracting flavonoids from Artemisia selengensis Turcz. was: 2 times extraction with 20 times amount of 45% alcohol for 1.75 hour at 75℃each time. The optimal procedure for water extracting flavonoids from Artemisia selengensis Turcz. was: 2 times extraction with 25 times amount of water for 1.5 hour at 95℃each time.The extracting conditions on total alkaloids of Artemisia selengensis Turcz. were studied. With 80% ethanol and 4% vitriol, the extracts were concentrated under reduced pressure, and extracted with chloroform for 5 times, identified by precipitator method and thin layer chromatography. Then the extracts were subjected to silica gel column with the successive eluting solvent mixture of methanol-chloroform.Technological process of purification for alkaloids and elementary structure characterization on the finally obtained preparation were studied by TLC,IR,LC-ESI~+-MS and NMR.The anti-HBV effect tests of the total alkaloids of Artemisia selengensis Turcz. were studied in vitro.
