Objective To investigate the clinic value of detecting the adenosinedeaminase (ADA) in the hepatitis B virus infectors' serums. Methods Adenosine deaminase (ADA) is detected by rate method, hepatitis B virus serum markers are detected by ELISA, HBV DNA ismeasured with FQ-PCR. According to the positive serum markers, weclassify the samples into 3 groups: group A (50 cases), HBsAg, HBeAg,HBcAb are all positive, HBV DNA is positive; group B (54 cases),HBsAg,HBcAb are positive, HBV DNA is positive or negative; groupC(94 cases), HBsAg, HBeAb, HBcAb are positive, HBV DNA is positiveor negative. The normal contrast group contains 60 cases. Detecting ADAin all samples.Result According to the ADA level in the serum from high to low is:group A, B, C, and the normal contrast group. Comparing with the normalcontrast group, group A, B, C's divergences are obvious. (P<0.05)Comparing A, B, and C groups, group A is significantly higher than B(P<0.05), group B is significantly higher than C (P<0.05), C is significantlyhigher than the normal contrast group (P<0.05). The ADA level in theserum of group A is a little higher than the HBV DNA positive in groupB,but no significant difference(P>0.05).Detecting the ADA in the serumand the HBV DNA in hepatitis B virus infectors has the same effect. Conclusion The research shows: serum ADA level is differentaccording to different positive serum marker styles. There is a goodcorrelation between serum ADA and HBV DNA. To some degree, serumADA level reflects the replication of hepatitis B virus. It is a good index toreflect the damage of the liver cells, and its detection has importantmeaning to clinic therapy.
