Studies On Isolation And Purification Of Acanthopanax Glylosides

There are about 30 species of plants of Acanthopanax which grow widely in China, Russia, Korea and Japan. About 20 species of plants of Acanthopanax grow in China, especially in the area of Northest, Hebei, Shanxi, Shanxi province and so on, of which more than 13 spceies are used as herbs. A. senticosus and A.sessiliflorus grow widely in Jilin province. Phamacological study showed that the root and stem of A. senticosus has significant activities such as antifatigue, invigating strength, nourishing vigor and vitality, stimulating vital energy and sexual function and so on .The main active ingredients of A. senticosus are eleutherosideA, B, B1, C, D, E, glucoside, caffeic acid, ferulic acid, sinapine, L-Sesamin.This experiment adopted the orthogonol design L9(34) to optimize the extracting process of eleutherosides. The results showed that the ideal ratio of material and solvent is 1:10, 60% ethanol as extracting solvent. The material should be extracted twice and each time for 2 hours.The obtained compounds were analysed by HPLC and compared with eleutheroside B.
