Clinical Observation Of Colquhounia Root Tablet On DN

Diabetes mellitus (DM) injury kidney in various ways that involve all kidney's parts such as glomerulosclerosis, arteriolar nephrosclerosis, glomerulosclerosis has direct relationshiop with DM ,so it's called diabetes nephropathy (DN).Objective: we preliminary assessmented treatment effect of Colquhounia root tablet on DN by studying curative effect of Colquhounia root tablet on DN in order to promote curative effect of the chinese medicine treatment on DN, to try to provide new mehtod and thinking.Methods we selected 90 patients based on the diagnosis standard and divided them randomly into three groups consisting of 30 patients separately: chinese medicine group, western group, colquhounia root tablet group. All patients were treated basically including controlling blood sugar, on diet, proper erexcise. Chinese medicine goup received additional treatment according to chinese medicine syndrome differentiation , western group received Cozaar treatment additionally, colquhounia root group received both the fomulated chinese medicine according to chinese medicine syndrome differentiation and colquhounia root tablet. Treatment period was three months, we observed the following index before and after the treatment : clinical symptom, 24 hours urine protein qantitation, kidney function, ET-1, IL-6, blood fat, FIB.Results Colquhounia root tablet group was superior to western group in bettering patients clinical synptoms (p＜0.05) and has the same curative effect with weetern group in decrease the inflammatory factor level in vivo(p＜0.05), three groups had obvious curative effect in decreasing the proteinuria and delaying the kidney function failure. But there was no significant difference among them . Colquhounia root tablet group was superior to western group and chinese medicine group in decreasing blood fat and reducing FIB.Conclusion we proved through clinical reseach that chinese medicne based on syndrome differentiation and Colquhounia root tablet have good effect on bettering chinese medicine syndrome, controlling the imflammtory factors, regulating blood fat, reducing FIB, reducing proteinuria and delaying the kidney function failure. So it's worthwhile to further study colquhounia root tablet treating DN based on syndrome differentiation in chinese medicne.
