Objective: To investigate the relationship among the category and degree of hyperplasia and the expression of ER,PR with Zheng-xing Of TCM of hyperplasis of the mammary gland(HMG). We hope to provide the more objective, normative standards of diagnosis and curative effect evaluation for HMG and guide clinical medicine usage effectively. We also hope to provide theoretical basis for delaying, restraining even inversing canceration for HMG.Methods: 198cases of HMG were selected randomly and divided into 3 groups according to relevant criteria adopted by surgical branch committee of Chinese medical conference of TCM in 2002(Stagnation Liver—qi type, Disorder Thoroughfare vessel and conception vessel type and Turbid Phlegm and Blood stasis type). Every case accepted Mammotone potary under the location of type-B Ultrasonic for tissue sample, Histological staining method was used to appraise the category and degree of Hyperplasia and immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of ER,PR in proliferation tissues in 198 cases of HMG. To investigate the relationship among those detected signs.Results:1,Constituent ratio of pathologic grade in three groups has significant difference (P<0.05), the proportion of theⅡ,Ⅲlevel atypical—hyperplasia in the Turbid Phlegm and Blood stasis type group is the highest(14.29%) and have a significant difference from the other groups (P<0.05).however, there isn't obviously difference between the Stagnation Liver—qi type group and the Disorder Thoroughfare vessel and conception vessel type group (P>0.05)。There is a remarkably difference among those three groups in the generalized hyperplasia(P=0.0016).2,It presents mostly generalized hyperplasia among those three groups and the proportion of atypical—hyperplasia in the Turbid Phlegm and Blood stasis type group is the highest. It shows that the category of hyperplasia in proliferation tissues is closely relevant to the zhengxing of TCM of HMG(P <0.001=. The category of hyperplasia in the Turbid Phlegm and Blood stasis type group is remarkably Higher than that in other two groups(P<0.0167=. However, there isn't obviously difference between the Stagnation Liver-qi type group and the Disorder Thoroughfare vessel and conception vessel type group(P=0.0237).3,There is a significant difference in the distribution of the expression of ER,PR among these three groups(P<0.001). The expression of ER,PR in the Turbid Phlegm and Blood stasis type group is remarkably Higher than that in other two groups(P<0.05). However, there isn't obviously difference between the Stagnation Liver—qi type group and the Disorder Thoroughfare vessel and conception vessel type group(P>0.05. It is clear that the expression of ER,PR in proliferation tissues is closely relevant to the zhengxing of TCM of HMG.4,There is a significant difference in the distribution of the expression of ER,PR among these groups of the degree of Hyperplasia(P<0.001). There is no obviously difference between the generalized hyperplasia and theⅠlevel atypical—hyperplasia, Which is the same for theⅡandⅢlevel atypical—hyperplasia(P>0.05). However, there is a remarkably difference among other groups. The expression of ER,PR in proliferation tissues of HMG is closely relevant to the degree of Hyperplasia.5,ER is related to PR(P<0.001), however, they have no relationship in rank. Conclusion: The category and degree of hyperplasia and the expression of ER,PR in proliferation tissues are closely relevant to the zhengxing of TCM of HMC. The expression of ER,PR combining with the category and degree of hyperplasia could be objective, microcosmic signs for clinical diagnosis, illness evaluation, curative effect observation and prognosis of the zhengxing of TCM of HMG. It could also provide theoretical basis for early diagnosis and phase-two prevention of breast cancer.
