| ObjectiveThis study was performed to observe the impact of the traditional chinese herb medicine Nuanxin Capsule on Inflammatory Reaction in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods1,40 patients with CHF from the inpatient department were randomly divided into two groups, each 20: the matched control group which was treated with western basin medincine and the treatment grup which was treated with Nuanxin Capsule(3#, tid) as well as western basic medicine. The treatment time was both two weeks.2,Use laboratory checks, such as the blood-routine, urine-routine, stoolroutine and hepatorenal function as safety index to make sure wheher the Nuanxin Capsule had any side-effects or toxicity.3,Making measurements of blood plasma Inflammatory Reaction level(ds-CRP) before and after the treatment.4,Making ultrasonic examination on the patients' heart before curing in order to explore the relativity between ds-CRP and the LVEF(%).5,Making measurements of BNP in the blood before and after curing in order to explore the correlation between ds-CRP and BNP.6,Assessing the grade of CHF according to NYHA before and after curing to observing the relativity of it and ds-CRP.7,Observing the symptoms, signs, total effective ratios and NYHA-class. Before and after the treatment, making a statistical disposal and comparing the curative effectsResults1. The comparisons between the plasma level of ds-CRP within different grades of NYHA each other: 1.1 Before curing: among different grades of NYHA-Class, there is no significant statistic difference(P＞0.05), Making the Pearson related analysis, ds-CRP had a positive correlation with NYHA-Class; the related coefficinent r is 0.80, P＜0.05.1.2 After curing: among different grades of NYHA-Class, there is signiciant statistic difference(P＜0.05). Making the Pearson related analysis, ds-CRP had a positive correlation with NYHA-Class; the related coefficinent r is 0.49, P＜0.05; Result hint: ds-CRP level at different heart function ratings have obvious difference, and exist positive related trend.2. All patients were divided into two groups accrding to LVEF. Between LVEF＜45% and LVEF≥45%, there is sifnificant statistic difference(P＜0.05). Making the Pearson related analysis, ds-CRP had a nagtive correlatioon with LVEF; the related coefficinent r is -0.70, P＜0.05 and P＜0.01, explaining the negative relation between EF value and ds-CRP level.4. Making the Pearson related analysis, ds-CRP had a positive correlatioon with blood level of BNP; the related coefficinent r is individually 0.67 and 0.77, it not only P＜0.05 but also P＜0.01, explaining when heart doesn't work, the activations of different neuroendocrine factors have consistency.5. Compared with before curing, both groups have significant statistic difference(P＜0.01) in the content of ds-CRP after curing; explaining ds-CRP level after curing obviously descendes than that before curing.6. Compared with the matched control group, There is significant statistic difference(P＜0.01) in the declinning percentage of ds-CRP in treatment group; hinting the declining degree of ds-CRP in the treatment group is better than that in the matched control.7. Safety monitoring: every laboratory checks seems to have the same result after curing as before curing. We haven' t yet discovered depravation, hinting the Nuanxin Capsule has a good safety and no obvous or serous side-effects.Conclusion1. In patients with chronic heart failure, the blood level of ds-CRP can judge the severity of CHF. ds-CRP had a negative correlation with LVEF. ds-CRP and the BNP has positive relation in assessing the severity of CHF.2. Nuanxin Capsule has an accurate curative effect on the patients with CHF in the clinical practive, without side-effects and toxicity.
