Effect Of Nuanxin Capsule On Noninvasive Hemodynamic Parameters In Patients With Congestive Heart Failure

Objective:This study was performed to observe the curative effect of the traditional Chinese herb medicine Nuanxin Capsule on the disease of congestive heart failure. Methods:1.50 patients with CHF from the inpatient department and outpatient clinic were divided into two groups randomly:the controlled group (treated with appropriate western medicine for CHF)and the treatment group (treated with Nuanxin Capsule as well as the same kinds of drugs as given to the controlled group ), there were 25 patients in each group. The treatment time was two weeks.2. The blood-rout ine, urine-routine, stool-routine, blood viscosity, liver function and kidney function were examined to judge if the Nuanxin Capsule had any side-effect or toxicity.3. Items of the patients were observed the clinical symptoms, signs, total effective ratios and NYHA functional class before and after the treatment, making a statistical disposal and comparing the curative effects.4. Making measurements of hemodynamic parameters before and after the treatment.5. Making ultrasonic examination on the patients' heart before the treatment in order to explore the correlation between STR and LVEF in patients with CHF.
