Caused by influenza virus infection ,influenza is presently one of the most pandemic and severe infectious diseases in our country. Methods currently applied to prepared by immunizing chickens in two processes ,purified by diluting ammonium sulfate sediment and ion-exchange chromatography, immunoprotein is analyzed with physical and chemical properties and experiment effect on animals. Specific IgY can be produced by either of the two processes ,while combined immunization through vein is preferred. By this means, immunoprotein of purity over 90 percent can be attained, and can protect passive immunized mouse from attack from the same group of influenza viruses, which shows that high potency specific IgY of H3N2 influenza has been successfully prepared.As has been stated,yolk antibody has advantage in accessible preparation,low cost and convenient utilization, thus can be practiced widely in precaution, diagnosis and treatment in both human and bird diseases ,and have profitable prospect for marketing development and integrative utilization.
