Objective(1)To explore how and in what extent clinicians were influenced by internal and extrinsic factors; (2)To understand what steps had medical administrate organization been taken to regulate diagnosis and treatment behavior; (3)To explore useful and feasible interventions to regulate diagnosis and treatment behavior.Subject and Methods400 clinicians from different grades of hospitals were selected randomly and tested with a questionnaire of factors influencing clinicians' diagnosis and treatment behavior. There were 3 parts of the questionnaire, part one: basic information of clinicians; part two: factors may influence clinicians diagnosis and treatment behavior; part three: dependent factor, whether his diagnosis and treatment behavior was standard or not. There were 250 clinicians came into research group, and the others as control. There was no statistical signification of age, gender between the two groups. We used chi-square test to find signification between the two groups ,and used Logistic regression analyses to find out which and in what extent factor affected clinicians' diagnosis and treatment behavior.ResultsThis was a cross-sectional study involving 400 clinicians selected randomly from 7 hospitals by completing questionnaires voluntarily, and 310 (95.7%) questionnaires were recollected. Logistic regression was used to analyze the influence factors on clinicians' diagnosis and treatment behavior standardization. The influence factors of relationship between clinicians (β=2.463 ), unnecessary examination (β=2.094), more strict criterion of admittance (β=1.866), economic station of patients (β=1.753), periodic continue study (β=1.567), colleagues' project (β=1.270), grade of hospital (β=1.161), being considered (β=1.161), principle of handing medical friction (β=0.997), exaggerating ponderance of the disease (β=0.954), gender (β=0.878), compliance (β=0.833) and regarding social benefit (β=0.781) influenced on clinicians' diagnosis and treatment behavior.ConclusionThere were plenty of factors influencing on clinicians, and government should pay more attention to establishing harmonious doctor-patient relationship , decreasing unnecessary examination, erecting more logical principia of handing dissension and expanding hospitalization insurance, and pay more attention to clinicians' health.
