An Investigation Of Death Causes Of The Occupational Population In Dalian Chemical Engineering Manufactories

Methods: By using retrospective epidemiological ascertainment methods, investigate the basic death causes of occupational people in two plants: Dalian Chemical Plant(1995-2005),Dalian petrochemical engineering limited company of PetroChina, collect the age ,gender, death time data of death people. Compare with the general population of Dalian.Objective: To investigate the basic death causes of occupational people in Dalian chemical engineering company.Describe the population distribution, age distribution, disease distribution, sex distribution, ordinal cause of death, et al. Provide basic data to prevent the high-incidence diseases in occupational population.Results:1.The crude mortality rate of the chemical engineering company is between 596.6/100000 to 801.6/100000,which is higher than Dalian general population. The crude mortality has no significant change in the five years.2.The first death cause of the chemical engineering company is malignant tumor, the crude mortality rate is higher than Dalian general population; The second and the third death cause is angiocardiopathy, cerebrovascular disease; The sixth death is cirrhosis of liver, which is different with the Dalian general population.3.The top five cancer death causes are lung cancer, liver cancer, gastric cancer, bowel cancer, pancreatic cancer. The fifth is different with the Dalian general population. The crude morality rate is high than Dalian general population in most years.4.The male average death age(69.49±12.66) is higher than female(62.17±12.13) and it has statistics difference. The PYLL sequence is different with the death sequence, accident and empoison rise from 6 to 4, blood system rise from 10 to six, breast cancerrise form 8 to4, leucocythemia from 10 to 7.Conclusions:1.The crude morality rate of Dalian chemical engineering company is higher than Dalian general population, the special occupational circumstance has great influence to the health of chemical engineering workers.2.The first death cause of Dalian chemical engineering company is malignant tumor, the second and third death cause are angiocardiopathy, cerebrovascular disease3.Lung cancer is the first cancer death cause in the chemical engineering company. The top four cancer death is the same with the Dalian chemical company. Kidney cancer is fifth in Dalian petrochemical engineering limited company of PetroChina; Pancreatic cancer is fifth in Dalian Chemical Plant.4.Besides malignant tumor, angiocardiopathy, cerebrovascular disease, accidents and empoison has great influence to the ages of the workers of Dalian petrochemical engineering limited company of PetroChina.
