Objective: To investigate the correlation between infection of different subtypes of huaman papillomavirus in cervical tissue and local immunity, and the influence of the infection on prognosis of human cervical disease. Methods: Forty cases with cervical disease experiencing tissue biopsy, without conditions of pregnancy or lactation, long-term adoption of steroid hormone or immunodepression, severe functional lesion of heart, liver and kidney, usage of general and local antiviral agents in latest 2 weeks, as well as administration of immunodepression and immunoactivator in latest 4 weeks, were chosen as the objects of the study. With the pathological diagnosis, all cases were divided into 3 groups. Fifteen cases with cervical condylomata acuminate or inflammation, fifteen cases low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion, and other ten cases with high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion or invasive carcinoma of uterine cervix were distributed into Groupâ… ,Groupâ…¡and Groupâ…¢respectively. With the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technique, cells and mucus acquired from all cases'cervical duct were examined for definition of HPV infection or the subtypes. Expressions of CD4, CD8 and Ki-67 in cervical tissue were detected by immunohistochemistry method, and then CD4/CD8 ratios were further calculated. Results: (1) In Groupâ… , HPV infection rate was 66.7 percent, with the subtype 6 and subtype 11 as the principal HPV subtypes, while cases with CD4/CD8 ratio in 1 or above accounted for 83.6 percent, and Ki-67 shows grades varied from - to +. (2) In Groupâ…¡, HPV infection rate was 73.3 percent, with the subtype 16 and subtype 58 as the principal HPV subtypes, while cases with CD4/CD8 ratio in one or above accounted for 33.3 percent, and Ki-67 shows grades varied from - to ++. (3) In Groupâ…¢, HPV infection rate was 70.0 percent, with the subtype 6 and subtype 11 as all, while cases with CD4/CD8 ratio in 1 or above accounted for only 20.0 percent, and Ki-67 shows grades varied from + to +++. (4) Compared with the local immunity of cervix and KI-67 in Groupâ… , significant differences were showed in other two groups(P<0.05), while there were no significant differences in local immunity of cervix between cases with high-risk HPV infection and ones with low-risk HPV infection(P>0.05), with obvious difference in Ki-67 expression(P<0.05).Conclusions: (1) It's huaman papillomavirus'own characters that induce different cervical diseases. (2) There is significant difference in local immunity between varied cervical diseases. (3) There is no...
