Objective: To investigate the correlation between differential diagnosis and CT images of stroke patients among the Han nationality and the Weiwur nationality patients in Xin Jiang. And to analyze the cerebrocranial CT images of stroke so as to guide the clinical treatment and to illustrate the sense of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Methods: CT scan were performed in 378 cases with stroke, including 225 male and 153 female, 274 the Han and 104 the Weiwur nationality patients. Statistical analysis had been done for evaluation the correlation between the cerebral CT manifestations and differ types of stroke within every age group, different nationalities and syndromes. Results: compared with Zhong zang fu (ZZF 中脏腑), the CT findings of Zhong jing luo (ZJL 中经络) were significant differences with prevalently occurred in basalganglion area while ZZF more commonly took place both in basalganglion area and subcorticalarea of hemisphere. The patients with ZJL I and II types were susceptible to cerebral infarction with majority of small lesions. The patients with ZZF mainly presented cerebral haemorrhage with big volume.
