Significance Of IGF-1 Level In Endometriosis And Advanced Epithelial Ovarian Carcinoma

To understand the clinical signifincance of the expression of IGF-1 in endometriosis and advanced epithelial ovarian carcinoma,this text adopt ELISA to detect the level of IGF which is from patients of Em in cavity of pelvis and pantients of advanced epithelial ovarian caicinoma in peritoneal fluid and serum.We investigate the relationship of invasion of EM and the level of IGF-1;the expression of the content of IGF-1 which is in the serum of ovarian cancer.We alse investigate the value of IGF-1 used in clinical application which is from Em and advanced epithelial ovarian carcinoma.Objective investigate the significance of the expression of IGF-1 in endometriosis and advanced epithelial ovarian carcinoma.Methods From December,2004 to January,2006,we adopt ELISA to detect the level of IGF which is from patients of Em in cavity of pelvis and pantients of advanced epithelial ovarian caicinoma in peritoneal fluid and serum and we investigate the relationship of the expression of IGF-1 with EM and advanced epithelial ovarian carcinoma.Results the levels of IGF which is from patients of Em in peritoneal fluid and serum are much higher than that is in nomal control,(P<0.05); the levels of IGF which are from gravis type patients of Em in peritoneal fluid and serum are much higher than that is in Var.mitis patients,(P<0.05);there's not significant difference of the contents of IGF-1 in gravis type and Var.mitis patients which are in serum and peritoneal fluid; the contents of IGF-1 in gravis type of patients of endometriosis and advanced epithelial ovarian carcinoma which is from peritoneal fluid and serum are much different from nomal control and Var.mitis patients of endometriosi(sP?0.05); there's not significant difference of the contents of IGF-1 in gravis type patients of endometriosis and advanced epithelial ovarian carcinoma which are in serum and peritoneal fluidConclusions IGF-1 makes unvarying effect of the process of cell multiplication and differentiation in endometriosis and it is the regulatory factor of cell multiplication which is relation to the mechanism of pathological and physiological of EM. IGF-1 makes unvarying effect of vegetation and maintaince of endometriosis. the contents of IGF-1 in gravis type patients of EM which is from peritoneal fluid and serum are all higher than that is in Var.mitis patients.This can explain that with the affravation of state of an illness, the levels of IGF which are from peritoneal fluid and serum are unceasingly heighten and it can adjuvantly decide the extent of development of endometriosis by the content of IGF-1; IGF-1 has unvarying expression in endometriosis and advanced epithelial ovarian carcinoma and it has something valued in these two judgement. The contents of IGF-1 in endometriosis and advanced epithelial ovarian carcinoma which is from serum are not much different from that is in peritoneal fluid,so in process of diagosis and deciding the degree of its development by using the level of IGF-1,on account of not much difference of the levels in serum and in peritoneal fluid and there's something traumatic in collecting the peritoneal fluid which is not easy to be accepted by patients than the collecting of serum and not suitable to be collected time by time,as well its result is easy to be effect by some factors such as inflammation ,tumors and so on.So the detection of IGF-1 by collecting serum has its superiority in clinical application.
