Effect Research Of Rotational Cervical Traction On ENG Frequency And Vertebra-basilar Artery Blood Velocity Of Rabbits With CSA Model

Objective: On the purpose to inquire into the effect and mechanism of Rotational Cervical Traction for improving the Electronystagmography frequency and hemodynamics of Cervical Spondylosis of Vertebral Artery Type(CSA) rabbits.Meanwhile,presume a suitable traction angle and posture for the treatment of CSA.Methods: While in the blank control group were injected with saline,all the other groups were injected by XiaoZhiLing injection fluid into the soft tissue on the right side of cervical vertebral transverse protuberance,which set up the CSA model.Seven weeks after injection,group treatment models were used Rotational Cervical Traction treatment and Cervical Traction treatment.Each group is divided into three body posture respectively Anteflexion posture 15o～20o,Normal posture,Extension posture 10o～15o.As far as Rotational Cervical Traction groups were concerned, we use our index finger fix the articulatio mandibularis and thumb support the occipital bone then rotate cervical vertebrae from right to left,each rotational angle will be 25o,every rotation is complished under the condition that cervical vertebrae is tracted in different body posture and the number of times for each treatment is 10.The course of treatment is 10 days of each treatment group.After whole treatment,detect the ENG frequency and the velocity in the Basilar artery,then contrast the statistical results of 8 groups and analyzing the mechanisms.Results: The groups of Cervical Traction had higher ENG and TCD levels than model contrasting group(P<0.05); The groups of Rotational Cervical Traction had higher ENG and TCD levels than model contrasting group(P<0.05);The groups of Rotational Cervical Traction with different body posture had higher ENG and TCD level than groups of Cervical Traction; Within groups of Rotational Cervical Traction, therapeutic of Extension 10°～15°posture is better than other body posture.Conclusion: (1)The model of CSA can be set up by being injected with XiaoZhiLing injection fluid into the soft tissue on one side of cervical vertebral transverse protuberance; (2)Rotational Cervical Traction can accelerate the nystagmus frequency of rabbits ; (3)Rotational Cervical Traction can enhance the velocity of Vertebra- basilar artery; (4)The therapeutic effect of Rotational Cervical Traction groups with 3 postures are superior to those of traction groups; (5)Extension posture Rotational Cervical Traction group is the best in all treatment groups.
