Objective To probe into prevalence of aggressive behavior problem in preschool children, explore the influential factors, the linear structural equation model was applied to evaluate multiple methods, to lay a basis for intervention with focus group interviews. Methods 1770 preschool children in Qingshan district of WuHan were investigated with random cluster sampling to explore the prevalence of aggressive behavior and the influential factors. A purposing sampling study was conducted with a panel of measures including field observation, teacher assess, peer nomination and mother assess among 168 preschool children in one kindergarten, synthetically evaluate the methods with LISREL model. focus group discuss was conducted to explore the intervention strategy. All data were analyzed by SPSS 13. 0 and LISREL 8.54.Results1,The prevalence rate of aggressive behavior problem in preschool children was 11.06%, there was a significant difference between boy's (12.63%)and girl's(7.43%). The prevalence rates between boy's and girl's with different ages showed entirely significant difference, and patterns of development was consistent, the maximal prevalence rate is four years old group, while the minimum prevalence rate is six years old group. But prevalence were basically equal between different class, different family style and different living.2,The scores of aggressive behavior problem showed significant difference between different background information such as age, gender, education degree of mother, career of mother, family income of average month.3,field observation found there were significant differences between boys and girls in the frequencies of three mode aggressive behaviors. Physical aggression was the most common form, while the frequencies of verbal and indirect aggression were relatively low. In general, boys engaged in more physical and verbal aggression, but girls engaged in more indirect aggression than boys. The frequencies of active...
