Purpose:To deeply explore the risk factors and evaluate the statistic methods applied inthe analysis on the risk factors of cerebral infarction.Methods:A case-control study of 150 pairs was carried out, the contents of investigationincluded the history of patients ,the history of family ,environmentalfactors ,nutritional factors .Path analysis and logistic regression model and the linearstructure equation model were applied to analyze the risk factors of CerebralInfarction.Results:(1) Logistic regression analysis shows that the influential factors on cerebral infarction are little activity ,taking exercise ,eating fresh fruit, eating marine product, eating legume.eating salted vegetable, having the history of high blood pressure.economy pressure ,the high level of triglyceride, the protective factors were taking exercise(OR=0.05;95%CI,0.02-0.13;P<0.0001), eating fresh fruit (OR=0.185; 95%CI,0.07-0.47;P= 0.0004), eating marine product (OR=0.346;95%CI,0.13-0.89;P=0.0279), eating legume(OR=0.238;95%CI, 0.116-0.487; P<0.0001),the risk factors were little ctivity (OR=3.85; 95%CI,L46-10.12;P=0.0063),eating salted vegetable (OR=3.437;95% C1,1.28-9.26;P=0.0146), having the history of high blood pressure(OR=4.3;95%CI,1.8-10.4;P=0.0011),economy pressure(OR=3.516;95%CI, 1.4-8.9;P = 0.0079) ,the high level of triglyceride (OR=3.787; 95%CI, 1.57-9.12;P= 0.0030).(2) Path analysis shows that high blood pressure,eating marine vegetables,eating legume, the high level of triglyceride affect the disease directly, economy pressure, salt vegetable ,taking exercise,little activity affect the disease indirectly though other factors.( 3) The linear structure equation model analysis showed that the total effect of F1 affecting the disease was 0.405l;The effect of F2 affecting the disease through the F3 was -0.039.The effect of F3 was 0.3000. The effect of F4 affecting the disease through F3 was 0.1290;The effect of F5 affecting the disease through F6 was 0.0615; The direct effect of F6 was 0.4100. Conclusions:(1) The direct and indirect effect of factors are calculated through the path analysis and the factors are apparent variables, once we want to analyzed the latent varivales, the path analysis is no use.(2) The LISREL is able to solve the problem of latent variables , reinforce the knowledgement of cause and effect..(3 ) Comparing with Logistic Regression Model,the more factors were analyzedthrough the linear structure equation model.
