Objective To observe the effect of Fufang Niuhuang wan on anti-inflammatory, analgesia, bacteriostasis, immunologic functions and hemorheology, and to provide pharmacology basis for the clinical application.Methods â‘ Anti-inflammatory model of mouse ear edema induced by xylene, rat paw edema induced by egg white and mouse paw edema induced by carrageenan, hot-plate procedure and acetic acid writhing test in mice were adopted to investigate the affect of Fufang Niuhuang wan on swelling , PGE2 level, white blood cell counts, pain threshold and writhing numbers.â‘¡Vitro bacteriostasis test was taken by means of dilution to test the MIC(minimum inhibitory concentration) of Fufang Niuhuang wan on staphylococcus aureus, escherichia coli, pseudomonas aeruginosa and klebsiella pneumoniae.â‘¢Carbon expurgatory function, splenic lymphocytes, serum hemolysin and antibody forming cell test were applied to investigate the affect of Fufang Niuhuang wan on phagocytic index, transformation rate of lymphocytes in the spleen, serum hemolysin concentration, antibody forming cells in low immunity mice induced by cyclophosphamide.â‘£Whole blood viscosity(WBV), plasma viscosity(PV), whole blood reductive viscosity(WBRV), hematocrit(HCT), index of aggregation(AI) and other relative targets of Fufang Niuhuang wan on acute stress blood stasis model rats( induced by hypodermic adrenaline and ice water ) and normal rats were determined by Pricel hemorheology operating pad.
