Objective:1. To find out the population's nutrition healthy status and the prevelance rate of blood lipids abnormalities in the elderly adults in the communities of Nanjing city, analyse the relationship between nutritional status and blood lipids abnormalities, and other factors related, providing the basis for the prevention and treatment of blood lipids abnormalities.2. To observe the multiple nutrition intervention, including dietary intervention of coarse grain food, health education and physical examination periodically, on blood lipds, fasting blood glucose and blood pressure and evaluate its effects.3. To master the effects and role of different composing feeds', such as including rise, flour and the compound coarse grain food, on the lipis, carbohydrate and antioxidant system in the lipids metabolism disordered rats.Methods:1 The multi-stage stratified cluster sampling according to economy, education and distribution of population, age was applied. More than 3400 elderly adults, aged above 45 years old, in 6 central districts (Gulou, Xiaguan, Qinhuai, Baixia, Xuanwu, Jianye) of Nanjing city were choosed for the nutrition epidemiological survey. Sample size was based on prevalence rates of blood lipids abnormalities in the pre-survey.2 Blood lipids abnormalities'population for intervention was screened on the basis of the survey and distributed to intervention group and control group. Then intervention network which combined community health service center (hospital) with community resident committee and expert group was established, multiplex nutritional intervention which primary characteristic was intervention by compound coarse grain food was implemented. Intervention span was one year.3 The rats experiment was distributed 4 groups: the negative control group, the hyperlipemia model control group, the rice-flour group and the coarse grain food group. According to the animal compound feed directions AIN-93 of US Nutrition Academy...
